There are two main types of diabetes – type 1 and type 2.

Type 2 diabetes occurs when the body doesn't produce enough insulin to function properly, or the body’s cells don't react to insulin. This is known as insulin resistance.

Type 2 diabetes is far more common than type 1 diabetes, which occurs when the body doesn't produce any insulin at all.

£110 for 1-1.5 hours

  • Determining your ideal weight for your height
  • Assessment of your health and lifestyle
  • Assessment of the nutritional adequacy of your current diet; depending on your concerns- you will be provided with a nutritional analysis of your diet.
  • Answering any questions you may have relating to nutrition
  • Designing your personalised diet plan with meal and snack ideas- this will be sent to you after the appointment
Follow up appointments

£50 for 30 minutes

  • Reviewing your progress
  • Discussing what has worked for you
  • Discussing the challenges
  • Setting future objectives
  • Discussing options when eating out/ at work
  • Discussing various foods in further detail

Initial consultations can take place in my office or in your own home (consultations in your home will be at an extra charge). The same applies to follow up appointments which can also take place via email or phone- a written report will follow.
